Day 308-9 – 8/7-8/24

Starting location: Anchored in the center of The Bustard Islands, in 30,000 islands area of Northern Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada

Weather: 59 am, 75 pm – Wednesday 8/7. 63 am, 73 pm, cloudy – Thursday 8/8.

Ending location: Moored at Roque’s Marina in Killarney, Ontario, Canada.

Statute miles: 33, then 0 until departure

General summary: Good conditions again to motor West in open Bay waters to our next destination – the small town of Killarney. This is where the Georgian Bay changes names to the ā€œNorth Channelā€, as it runs more narrowly East and West with Ontario mainland to the North and islands to the South. No problem getting to our marina reservation. There were some great hikes here that we took advantage of. Small local grocery store for re-supply. And ice cream, of course. Ran into and caught up with the Canadian couple we had met at The Big Chute and Severn.

You and Tom both look so happy and relaxed. I know traveling is not always stress-free, but overall it appears to be agreeing with the two of you!
