General summary: Happy Halloween! 🎃 Since we got in yesterday on the late side, decided to spend two nights here. Had to break out the winter coats, hats, and gloves. Almost hadn’t brought them to save space and assumed we’d have warm enough weather all the way. Never assume… Hiked 3 mile trail in the park and saw cabins, RV spots, and walk-in tent camping. All very well appointed and cared for. Cabins have AC and ductless heating, full kitchen with dishwasher included, decks, and outside sitting areas. RV sites all have concrete pads, power, water, fire rings, picnic tables. Walk-in tent sites have good privacy from the trail and other campsites. All in a pretty wooded setting not far from the river. Marina has transient space for up to 8 boats bow-in, but some were so large they took up 2 spaces. All Loopers at this time. 6 double rows of covered slips for permanent moorage. Tennessee seems to prioritize and fund their state parks well.

Boater information: Pickwick Marina has Wifi, gas, power, pump-out, water (will be turned off for winter soon, though), bathrooms, showers. Small store (mainly beverages and some boat supplies). Recycling readily available. Restaurant not far and you can get some food delivered from other places.
