General summary: Our goal was to get as far North as fast as possible so we can enjoy Canada in July and August. We motored to Cape May in New Jersey, never having set foot in Delaware. Continued on through the New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway which was protected from wind but frustratingly slow due to shoaling, no wake zones, and bridges. As winds were light and the waves in the Atlantic Ocean were predicted to be small, we exited out into the ocean from Ocean City, NJ to Atlantic City, NJ. Fairly smooth ride. Went back into protected waters for the night.
